BAT, BIRD & DORMOUSE BOXES

We make sturdy, longlasting oak and softwood bird, bat and dormouse boxes to RSPB and Barn Owl Trust designs.  Owl and kestrel boxes are made from tanalised ply as recommended.  All other boxes are made from untreated timber to be kind to their future inhabitants, and bird and dormouse boxes have hinged tops for easy annual cleaning.  Included are simple instructions for putting up your new box.  We make to order:

One of our barn owl boxes secured to an oak truss in the cob barn.  You can just see the opening on the top left of the box.  The deep box stops unfledged birds from escaping before they can fly, and the shelf gives them plenty of perch room once they are ready to spread their wings.
